This policy covers PasteLane for macOS. The app does not require a PasteLane account; Apple and other services have their own terms.

Clipboard queue
Every ⌘C lands at the top of the queue. Text, links, images and files, with nothing to turn on.
Advanced Mode adds search, content tabs, preview, pinned items, a longer history and alternative panel layouts. Previews are prepared when you copy, so they open at once; long text, code and text recognized in images are shortened, and Show full content opens the whole thing.
Privacy & Security
Clipboard content is processed and stored on your Mac. This macOS release does not send clipboard content to PasteLane servers or iCloud; iCloud sync is not available in this release.
Clear history on shutdown: Removes the queue when PasteLane quits and when you log out of the Mac.
Clipboard history survives logout and restart. Stored encrypted on disk. Disabling wipes existing persistent data.

Recognized text is processed on-device and makes copied images searchable.
Apple and purchases
The App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. PasteLane receives purchase status, not your payment details. Apple processes purchase data under its own privacy policy.

Website and browser storage
We store your selected language and choice for this notice in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
These values stay in local storage until you change or delete them, or clear this site’s data in your browser.
If you submit the contact form, KIP IT receives your name, email address, subject and message through Resend so it can respond. Do not send passwords, tokens, keys or clipboard contents. We keep the message only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and meet legal obligations.
